Maundy Thursday

On Maundy Thursday, March 20, at 6:00 PM, we will gather for a meal followed by a Celebration of the Holy Eucharist, in Fellowship Hall, at about 7:00 PM. Please bring your own table setting and a dish to pass for the potluck supper. Following the Eucharist, we will process to the worship space for the stripping of the altar in preparation for Good Friday. During the stripping of the altar, we will read St. Matthew’s account that recalls Jesus’ time in the garden of Gethsemane. The way this service is crafted, it has elements that are intended to engage children and youth, as well as adults.
